Daniel Kehl holds a degree in process engineering. After completing his studies, he worked for more than ten years at Lonza AG in the engineering sector, especially in the planning and realization of plants for pharmaceutical production. After this time he became self-employed and founded the company pixon engineering AG. The company Swissfillon AG emerged from pixon engineering AG.
Daniel Kehl speaks and writes German, especially the German from Valais, French and English fluently and confidently.
CTO/ Head of Production
As CTO and Head of Production at Swissfillon AG, Rainer Glöckler is responsible for the perfect process in the production of the bottling line. He has acquired the necessary skills in over 20 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical production. After graduating in biotechnology, he applied to Lonza AG, where he held various positions, including the position as head of production. Rainer Glöckler joined Swissfillon AG with the appropriate professional and management experience.
Anyone who knows the Swissfillon AG head of production, who was born in Germany, privately, also appreciates him as an absolute gourmet who not only trains his taste buds in enjoyment, but also as an ambitious hobby chef.
Conny Schmiedehaus joined the Swissfillon AG team as finance consultant on May 01, 2019. So she can draw on many years of professional experience. During 35 years she was able to expand and develop her experience in the areas of finance, accounting and HR. In addition, for 30 years she worked mainly for American companies and was able to expand her knowledge not only on the national but also on the international market. Conny Schmiedehaus is also familiar with corporate accounting and with setting up several global start-ups in financial infrastructure and HR. Since 2005, Conny Schmiedehaus has bundled her experience as an interim manager where she worked as CFO or controller for numerous international companies in Germany and abroad. Several mandates also led her to Valais, which prompted her to move permanently to the mostly sunny canton. By moving to Swissfillon AG, Conny Schmiedehaus was able to take on a new professional challenge, which allowed her to return to the international arena as a finance consultant.
Qualified Person (QP)/ Head of Quality Assurance (QA)
Daniela Theler is the Qualified Person (QP) and knows the specialized processes and the high quality standards for the production of pharmaceuticals very well. She also knows how these can be implemented from a technical point of view. After receiving her Master of Science in Cell Biology, Daniela Theler worked as QA project manager at Lonza AG and as project manager at pixon engineering AG. Daniela Theler was responsible for the qualification of the Swissfillon AG project during her time at pixon engineering AG. After the engineering and qualification phase she moved to the Fill and Finisher company.
Deputy of the Qualified Person (QP)/ Deputy Head of Quality Assurance (QA)
Dr. Roger Holenstein is the deputy of the qualified person (QP) and responsible for a part of the QA issues of Swissfillon AG. After his studies as chemical engineer and his dissertation as well as a post-graduate study in pharmaceutical quality assurance, he worked as production manager, quality director and general manager in various SMEs for sterile aseptic production, including more than 15 years as QP from API production to MAH. He has been responsible for two companies up to the successful FDA inspection. He is also a trainer and speaker in the pharmaceutical industry.
Quality Assurance (QA)
Christian Amann holds a federal diploma in pharmacy and works for Swissfillon AG in the field of quality assurance (QA). During his master studies in industrial pharmacy (MSc ETH in Medicinal and Industrial Pharmaceutical Sciences) he had the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the drug development process as well as technical and regulatory aspects of industrial manufacturing. He continued his education with a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSc ETH in Pharmaceutical Sciences) and completed it with a degree in pharmacy. As a pharmacist, he deals with all aspects of pharmaceutical products, from chemical composition to galenic formulation and application to the customer.
Sales and Business Development Manager
Enrico Zanetti has over twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. In this context, he worked in Business Development and for seven years as Research and Development Director in a medical manufacturing company. During his seven years with the manufacturing company, he focused on improving the company's technical background. In September 2018, he finally decided to support Swissfillon AG in Visp in the area of business development.
Patrick Steinhauser has over 15 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry – 10 years of that in aseptic filling. After his engineering studies in pharmaceutical technology, he started as a project manager for technical qualification services. Subsequently, he switched to aseptic filling in the CDMO business with a focus on process transfer and project management. After setting up a greenfield fill-and-finish facility, Patrick Steinhauser longed for a new professional challenge and joined the Swissfillon team as a project manager.
Head of Quality Control (QC)
After completing her training as a polygraph, Tamara Deubelbeiss graduated from the "Kantonale Maturitätsschule für Erwachsene" (KME) in Zurich. She then decided to study microbiology at the ETH in Zurich and graduated with flying colours. After graduating, Tamara Deubelbeiss started her career at Lonza AG in Visp as a QC microbiologist. After working in this area for three years, she switched internally to QA Monitoring at Lonza for two and a half years before joining Swissfillon AG as head of QC.
Quality Control (QC)/ Quality Assurance (QA)
Gabriela In-Albon joined the Swissfillon AG team in Visp in November 2018, where she has been responsible for quality control (QC) tasks, especially in the area of monitoring, in order to support Tamara Deubelbeiss in her activities. In addition, Gabriela In-Albon also takes on tasks in quality assurance (QA) as system admin to support Daniela Theler in her fields of activity.
Before Gabriela In-Albon found a new professional challenge through her employment at Swissfillon AG in Visp, she was employed at Lonza AG in Visp for 27 years. There she dedicated 10 years to QC analytics and was responsible for 17 years as QA for system maintenance and validation of the QA and QC systems (information system, documentation system, change management system), for which she also conducted training courses.
Quality Control (QC)/ Cleaning
For 14 years Bahar Majid was responsible for the cleaning of various areas in the hospital in Visp, where she gained experience in cleaning operating theatres, emergency rooms and various internal departments. A particular challenge was the cleaning of the operating theatres, as this activity requires a great deal of know-how and understanding for the cleaning work. However, this was not enough for Bahar Majid and so she started working for the cleaning company Renzler for another year and a half. In this context, she came into contact with Swissfillon AG for the first time, as she was commissioned by Renzler to carry out cleanroom cleaning. As she enjoyed her work at Swissfillon very much, she decided to switch completely to the fill-and-finish company. Bahar Majid has been a permanent member of the Swissfillon family since February 2019 and is responsible for particle measurement, water sampling, office and cleanroom cleaning.
Head of Administration
Monika Zurbriggen is the management assistant. In addition to her specialist areas of human resources and finance, she is also responsible for administrative processes. In this area she is perceived as a highly competent and qualified employee with performance qualities as head of administration.
Administration/ Supplied Chain
Vera Berchtold decided, after her compulsory schooling, to attend the commercial secondary school (KBM) in Brig, where she completed her training (three years school and one year internship) as a commercial employee. After her one-year internship at the Pedagogical University in Brig, she longed for a new professional challenge, which she found in the area of administration and supplied chain at Swissfillon AG in Visp.
Head of Supply Chain
Patrick Karlen started his professional career with an apprenticeship as a machine mechanic. After various positions and further training as a technical businessman, he joined Lonza in 2006. There he worked for 12 years as a company logistician and then for another one and a half years in operational, technical purchasing. He followed Swissfillon's call at the beginning of September 2019 and has since been a member of the fill-and-finish team as Head of Supply Chain.
Karin Eggel is responsible for logistics at Swissfillon AG in Visp. She is responsible for the constant availability and management of all materials required for the production process.
Deputy Head of Production
Josef Werlen, who joined the Swissfillon team as deputy head of production on May 01, 2019, can draw on 34 years of professional experience. It all began with an apprenticeship as a biology laboratory assistant at Lonza. Subsequently, Josef Werlen decided to take part in further training, which entitled him to take the specialist examination. This know-how enabled him to work at Lonza as a project manager. There he primarily dealt with research. But this field was not yet broad enough for Josef Werlen and he decided to also gain a foothold in development before switching to production support. For 10 years Josef Werlen supervised a production line and was group leader. But even now he still longed for a new professional challenge, which he could finally find at Swissfillon AG. For Josef Werlen, the cycle was closed, because his professional career had started with genes, then he was able to switch to research, then production and finally he is deputy production manager of a fill and finish company.
Pascal Willa is part of the production team of Swissfillon AG in Visp. After compulsory schooling, he decided to train as a pharmaceutical technologist at Lonza AG in Visp, where he gained his first professional experience after completing his apprentice-ship. Later on Pascal Willa decided to move to Swissfillon AG as a plant master.
Karin Heinzmann began her professional career as a laboratory assistant at Lonza AG. She continued in this occupation until 1999 and then devoted herself to the first years of her children's lives. In the meantime, she has mastered her professional return to industrial production at Swissfillon AG.
Marlise Studer is a trained biology laboratory assistant. She gained professional experience at Hes-so in Valais and at CSL Behring AG in Bern. Marlise Studer then decided to continue her professional career at Interteam in Tanzania. After her return to Switzerland, she took over the project management of Chinderwält in Visperterminen and is now part of the production team of Swissfillon AG in Visp.
After 18 years at Lonza AG in Visp and DSM Lalden as shift operator/chemist, Marco Truffer has longed for a new challenge. Through a newspaper advertisement of Swissfillon AG and a subsequent visit to the website of the fill-and-finish company, Marco Truffer became aware of a job advertisement which prompted him to apply. Since January 2019, Marco Truffer has been part of the Swissfillon AG production team.
Chantal Schultz-Andenmatten completed her training as a hotel assistant. She then gained 30 years of experience in the catering and hotel industry. After this long period in the catering and hotel industry, Chantal Schultz-Andenmatten longed for a new professional challenge and now complements the production team at Swissfillon AG in Visp.
Valentina Cadelano has specialised in foreign languages (French, English and German) at a secondary school. At university, however, she did not opt for the humanities but for the natural sciences and obtained a bachelor's degree in biomedical laboratory techniques. After completing her bachelor's degree, Valentina Cadelano was able to gain a foothold in the hospital in Sion and get her first work experience in bacteriology. Valentina Cadelano then came across Swissfillon's job advertisement by chance on the Internet and now complements the production team of the fill-and-finish company.
Alois Jenelten - alias Wisi - is a trained sanitary installer, sanitary draughtsman, ventilation sweep, caretaker with professional certificate and building technician. Before he started his own business for 10 years in the areas of sanitary, heating and ventilation, he worked in customer service. After 10 years of self-employment, Alois Jenelten longed for a new challenge, which he found in Swissfillon AG at the end of 2018. In the fill-and-finish company, Alois Jenelten is responsible for maintenance.
